How to Overcome Puppy Crying (usually at night).

It would be very tiring course when I heard your puppy howling and whining constantly. Especially when they whine / cry at night so make your sleep disturbed and disturbing the neighbors. 

Whining is a natural thing for a puppy. However, it is important to find a solution immediately before it becomes a habit. First, you have to find what is causing your puppy cry. Use these tips to make your dog can sleep in peace and you were happy :

Tip # 1. 

The puppy might be looking for your attention. Sometimes it is best to simply ignore your puppy. It may be difficult but it is really worth a try because if you continue to react or pay attention when the puppy whines, he will use it as a way to get your attention. 

When you start whining puppy, you should turn away from it. When he calmed down, pay attention and reward in the form of treat. Keep repeating this process until the puppy learns that the 'whining' will only get you away from him and got unpleasant consequences for him. However, make sure you are always consistent and do not give up.

Tip # 2 

Provide a comfortable place for your puppy to sleep. Your puppy will probably whine if he is in an uncomfortable place. Maybe he has pee / poop in the stable or want to get out to pee / poop. Always make sure the cage is warm, dry and safe, 

To avoid puppy pee / poop in the stable, always take him to the toilet or out to tidy up his affairs before you go to bed so you do not have to get up to take him to the toilet / out at midnight.

Tip # 3 

Puppies separated from their mothers may feel lonely. If your puppy crying at night, you can bring it to your room (not in your mattress). Contact this makes puppy sees you as the pack leader,. 

But if you are not comfortable with this, you can move the cage from the room you slowly over time to put something that smells your puppy in a cage like your shirt. 

It's important to note that it is not good to let the puppy sleep with you in bed because it can become a habit. You can place it in the cage or in the former blanket.

Tip # 4 

Puppy whining can be caused due to pain or discomfort. If you've tried a variety of methods and all failed, then it might be due to health problems that can not be seen. Bring your puppy to the vet to be checked.

Tip # 5 

Puppy whining when they are hungry or thirsty. Make sure you feed well and provide water for drinking. However, avoid giving your puppy to eat at times close to bedtime because it will make them have to get up in the middle of the night to pee.

Tip # 6 

Puppy may cry because of their excess energy unused. Help your dog to release energy with walks, obedience training and playing with him before he went to bed so that he felt tired and could sleep soundly. Avoid letting her sleep too early because when you sleep hours, your puppy may even feel fresh.
