According to research, Dog Left More Aggressive Against Foreigners.

Like humans, dogs also have a tendency to use the left or right part of his body. This trend also seems to be related to their behavior. A recent study showed that dogs who are left-handed tend to be more aggressive to strangers.

It is found researchers from Australia after overseeing 75 dogs of various races. They did not find any connection lefty dogs the way they demand attention. But the researchers found that the dogs were left-handers tend to have a higher level of aggressiveness to strangers than dogs who are right-handed.

"There are human studies that positive and negative emotions can be placed on the right and left. It seems that this is also true for animals," said Dr. Luke Schneider of the University of Adelaide.

The research was done by giving the dog a toy or food, making them have to hold it. Of the 75 dogs studied, indicating uniform distribution between dogs using the left foot, right, or both (unlike humans more dominant right-handed). Some types of dogs that come under study is a labrador, golden retriever, border collie, and Shetland Sheepdog, and none of the dogs were noted to have aggressive behavior before.
