How to Correct Dog Ear Cleaning
Some dogs will refuse to clean their ears especially if the dog is not accustomed to his ears cleaned since a kid. However, dog ear cleaning is not a difficult job if you know the right way to clean the dog's ears. We recommend routine ear cleaning dog was introduced since the dog was a child, so the dog accustomed to such treatment and will not resist when his ears cleaned and will certainly facilitate your work in cleaning your dog's ears.
Cleaning the dog's ear is very important to do regularly to keep them clean and healthy and protected from infections disease agents. Dog ear infection would be easier if the disease agent is not regularly cleaned. This is because the dog has a ear piece in the shape winding so it is easier for parasites, bacteria and fungi to hide and thrive in it which resulted into a dog's ear infection. Should dogs ears cleaned regularly 1-2 times a week or on the advice of a veterinarian. As for how to clean the dog's ears right is as follows:
1. Prepare in advance the materials and tools used to clean the dog's ears like ear cleaning solution, cotton swabs, cotton balls, tweezers or hemostats.

2. Put your dog on the table and you are standing on the side of the table opposite the dog's ear. Some dogs also like when you put it on your lap (especially small breed dogs). Make the position that makes the dog feel comfortable.

3. Before cleaning the dog's ears, first open or lift the ears so that the inner ear dog looks. Then do a check on the dog's ear to abnormalities and health problems such as the presence of a foul odor, there are lumps, blood, injury to the ear, redness and pain in the ear if held. If no such abnormalities immediately take your dog to the vet to be examined further and to avoid more serious illness.

4. In addition, check the hair around the dog's ear hole. If the hair is found in the dog's ear hole should be repealed because it can reduce the flow of air into the ear canal. Good air flow into the ear is very important to maintain healthy ears. The hair around the ear hole dog can be unplugged by hand or carefully using tweezers or hemostats.

5. Put your ear cleaning fluid as much as a few drops. The tip of the ear cleaning fluid bottle is inserted a few millimeters into the ear canal so that the cleaning liquid can get into the ear canal. Be careful when when inserting the tip of the bottle into the ear canal. Do not be too deep and too strong to press the tip of the bottle of cleaning fluid into the ear canal as it can break the eardrums. Dogs typically will wiggle or shaking his head so cleaning liquid droplets get into the ear to remove the liquid. You do not need to worry leave it alone and do not need feeding and again because it is included in the cleaning process.

6. Then gently massage the base of the dog's ear by combining cartilage at the base of the ear with the thumb and forefinger to remove dirt in the ear. Do it for about 60 seconds.

7. Clean the wax or dirt that is on the dog's ear with a cotton ball with the larger size of the dog's ear hole. Clean all crevices of the ear but do not force the cotton ball into the ear hole and just clean the areas that you can easily reach. Cotton swabs can be used to clean the dirt that is around the outer ear but do not put a cotton bud in the ear hole. Inserting a cotton bud in the ear hole too deep can be risky to damage the eardrum, especially when the dog suddenly moves. In addition, it can also enter the ear wax deeper into the ear canal. Avoid to clean the inside of the dog's ear unless your veterinarian or a professional person to do it.

8. As long as you clean your dog's ears are doing with full casing and invite dear he spoke with a soft voice that your dog feels comfortable when you are cleaning the ears. When finished cleaning the ears give him praise and a gift of his favorite food as well as provide treatment that makes your dog happy like caressing it gently.
