Labrador Retriever become the most popular dog in America.
Friday (31/01/2014), the American Kennel Club announced that labrador retrievers again crowned as the most popular dog breeds in America.
Remarkably, it has carried the honorary title labrador retrievers for 23 years in a row.
"This type of dog is superior in many ways. They are a good family companion and also an amazing hunting dog," said AKC spokesperson Lisa Peterson, told The Associated Press.
Meanwhile, German shepherds, golden retrievers, beagles and bulldogs managed to secure their position in the top five.
Unfortunately, Shih tzus and Chihuahua to be frozen out of the top 10, and was replaced by a Rottweiler and a Bulldog.
