Aroma Therapy In Dogs.

Did you know that the aroma therapy that is often used by humans it can also be used for our pet dog ?. The aroma of lavender can provide a calming effect on the dog who is in pain, the scent of lemongrass can ward off fleas attack, the scent of peppermint can treat morning sickness, and so forth.

Aroma therapy is typically used oil produced from plants. This oil is usually referred to as essential oils.

What exactly Essential Oils? Essential oils are oils produced from plant tissue (crude drugs) such as roots, stems, bark, leaves, flowers, fruits or seeds. The nature of essential oils that stand out among others: easily evaporate at room temperature, in accordance with the fragrant smell of plants that produce and are generally soluble in organic solvents. Based Hieroglyphics (ancient Egyptian letters) and the Chinese manuscripts, priests and physicians of that era have been using essential oils to heal the sick, thousands of years before Jesus was using it. Essential oils are medicinal and cosmetic longest existing and considered more valuable than gold. There are about 188 references to oils in the Bible. Only recently have science began to dig deeper into the properties of this essential oil.

  Usefulness of Essential Oils:

     1. Helps maintain the immune system

     2. Helping reject viruses and bacteria

     3. Improved mood

     4. Antiseptic

     5. Oxygenating

     6. Has a high antioxidant substances

We have pets can also suffer from the same disease to humans. If diseases such as abscesses (boils), cough and minor injuries do not improve after a couple days, you are advised to see a veterinarian immediately.

Use only oil that is labeled "Genuine & Authentic" or "Grade A". Many people mistakenly think the word PURE or 100% PURE on the label means that it is good quality essential oils.

There are 4 levels of Essential Oils:

PURE - This means that the oil is not diluted with lower quality oil. Example: lavender oil is often diluted with lavedin, the quality of treatment is very little. "Pure" does not mean that there are no other chemicals are mixed into the essential oils. It could be composed of 75% vegetable oil and 25% of essential oils and still be labeled "100% Pure". In the United States, to get the label "Pure", you are only required to enter only 5% essential oil.

NATURAL - This means that the oil is not mixed with vegetable oil, propylene glycol, SD Alcohol 40 or other chemicals.

COMPLETE - This means that the oil distilled at low temperature and pressure so not all is lost therapeutic efficacy. Unrefined oil back. Essential oils are often distilled to make oil back into more. They make a profit that way. The problem is, if it is done then the efficacy of the therapy will be lost. Same thing with using the same tea bag repeatedly. For example: France is the number one producer of lavender oil in the world. In 1997, they produced 25 tons of lavender and 67 tons were exported to America. Another example is the Melissa oil. Melissa oil is very difficult to be generated. Of 52 pounds of pure Oil Melissa, you know how much is exported? 1000 pounds. Strange is not it?

There are about 200-800 chemicals that can make one essential oil. There would only be about 10, when the oil is not refined properly.

GENUINE & AUTHENTIC or GRADE A - This is the best quality. Each process is handled very well. Grains using hybrid seeds, land-use organic soil, which is never exposed to chemicals. Done by using steam distillation at low temperature and pressure and carried the place closed and not use chemicals in the process. The length of time refining is also an important thing. Cypress oil should be distilled for 24 hours. Many companies that distills at a high temperature to save time. This will make the quality of the oil to be ugly. Distance distillation equipment should not be more than 50 miles from the plantation, must have Gas Chromatograph readings with a safety that does not come from their own lab. If all the above steps have been taken, then oil it can be said to be "Grade A".
