7 Stages of Child Development Mandatory Dog Owner Dog is known by.

The most important time in a child's development during the age of the dog is the first year, especially during the first 3 months of his life. By understanding the stages of their development, we can provide what they need and at the time when they most needed so that development becomes optimal.

Let's see what stage they are going through, but remember that the previous stages will be discussed below are the stages of dogs in general. Each dog may be different, there is a faster and a slower there.

Phase 1: Phase Transition (age 2-3 weeks).

Transition stage generally lasts from age two to three weeks. At this stage, your puppy's eyes will open and they will slowly start to respond to light, movement, and sounds around him. They will start to move a little bit, trying to move his legs and crawl. They will also begin to recognize mother and brother as well as any objects that you have placed nearby.

Stage 2: Stage "almost" ready to see the world (age 3-4 weeks).

your dog will begin to experience rapid sensory development during this stage and fully alert to their surroundings. They will begin to recognize you and other family members. During this stage, you should avoid loud noises or sudden changes due to negative events can have a serious effect on personality and development. Puppy learning how to be a dog during this stage, so it is important for them to live together with mother and brother.

Stage 3: Stage of social development (age 4-7 weeks).
From the age of 3-4 weeks, your dog will begin the most important social developments in his life. They learn to interact socially with his brothers, to learn how to play and learn to control the bite / nibble smooth without hurting (bite inhibition).

Bite inhibition is an important factor in the socialization of dogs and usually studied as part of play behavior in puppies while they are still with the mother and brother. With biting each other during play, the puppy will learn that if biting a playmate too strong it will stop their play activities.

At this stage, the puppy will also learn discipline. Parent dogs will breastfeed puppies and started to teach them basic obedience, including receiving her (the mother) as the pack leader.

You can start to introduce solids to puppies ranging in age from about 4 weeks to gradually transition from parent ation. Continue to handle the puppies on a daily basis, but do not separate them from either parent or brother for more than 10 minutes per day. Pups were separated from the nest too early (the mother and brother are) usually will cause the puppy to be nervous, tend to bark and bite, and more difficult to socialized and trained. The puppies have to be with the mother and brother at least until the age of 7 weeks, and even better if it's longer than the optimal social development and stable.

Experts say that the best time in a puppy's life to learn social skills is between 3 and 16 weeks of age. Here is your chance to ensure that your puppy grows into a dog with a good personality. Is very important to let your puppy along with parent and brother as long as possible at this stage. Do not scold the puppy play fight-beranteman, errors pee / poop recklessly or mouthing (biting lightly) because it is a normal behavior for a puppy at this stage.

Stage 4: Stage "I'm afraid of everything" (age 8 weeks-3 months).

This stage lasts from age 8 to 3 months, and is characterized by easy to learn quickly and also "fear period" that usually appears around the age of 8 to 10 weeks. Not all, but most dogs experience it and they will look the fear of unfamiliar things. At this stage the dog should not be given a harsh discipline, loud noises or events that could make the trauma.

At this stage, bladder and bowel puppy you have started can be well controlled and she was able to sleep through the night (finally, you can rest). You can begin to teach him simple commands such as: come, sit, stay, down, etc.. Leash training can begin. It's important not to keep your puppy from human contact at this stage, because he will continue to learn behaviors and procedures that will affect it in the coming years.

Stage 5: Stage Toddlers (age 3-4 months)
At this time your puppy will mostly behave like toddlers. They will be a little more independent, will probably start ignoring your commands just like a child he learned who is trying to enjoy his freedom. It's like "I do not have to listen to you!". What is needed here is a firm and gentle strengthening the command and training provided.

He probably will start to bite you, ranging from playful bite or even bite as an attempt to challenge your authority. A sharp command "NO!" or "No bite!" followed by a few minutes ignore it, should solve this problem.

Continue to play with him and take care of their needs every day, but do not play games like tug of war or wrestling with him. In line with the growing strength, he will fight you to see who is more powerful and even if you are winning, the message received by your dog is that you are fighting with something reasonable. And it's certainly not a natural thing!

Stage 6: Stage is being naughty-naughty (age 4-6 months)
At this stage, your puppy will be show independence and desire his will. You may notice a reduced desire to please you and see the naughty behaviors that might test the limits of your patience.

At this stage also, the puppy will experience teething cycle and will start looking for something to bite / chew to relieve the pain and pressure felt. Frozen bone-reinforcement dog can help calm him down during this period.

The puppy will try to assert "dominance" over other family members, especially children. Continue to train obedience and basic commands to your puppy, but make sure to never let go of leash / dog leash during this time unless you are in a secure area. Most puppies will ignore commands to return or come to their owners, in which it can be dangerous. If you set him free in a public place without a leash possibility of injury or even death could result in your puppy, one example being hit by a car.

They will also begin to experience hormonal changes as he grows into an adult and you will probably see signs of rebellion (think like a teenager).

Stage 7: Stage of Youth (age 6-18 months)
This stage is usually a fun time in the life of your dog. They are young, vigorous, energetic, and she will learn everything necessary to become a true dog.

At this stage, gradually add activities and training your dog. You can start training harder during this period, such as herding or agility training (if this is you and your dog enjoy doing) or other training can. If not, expand your dog activities that involve more people and other animals. And also, allows it to interact with other dogs that are not aggressive and non-threatening.

Congratulations! You have raised your puppy through the 7 stages of its development and now you have an adult dog! Almost felt like raising a child, is not it?
